Homeschool Networking

If you are a freedom loving individual or group who wants to preserve the original meaning of the Constitution and connect with others who are like minded, contact NHELD, LLC today so we can network and share our stories and ideas nationwide. The Declaration of Independence has lost nearly all meaning in mainstream society and the decay is all around us, starting with the education system. While we are individualists at heart, we have power in numbers and must fight together for the change we want to happen. Our networking initiatives help the homeschooling movement in tremendous ways, and we are thankful to have an ever expanding group of like-minded people consistently joining our ranks and sharing their stories.

National presence, local results

NHELD, LLC is a nationwide organization of like-minded individuals who believe their God given rights enable them to raise their families the way they see fit, particularly when it comes to education of their children. The term, "homeschooling" is a modern nickname for what parents have done from time immemorial - bring up their children and instruct them. "Homeschooling" is not "schooling at home".  It is simply the act of parents accepting the responsibility for educating their own children, in whatever form that takes.  Homeschooling is more successful when parents, and children, have the freedom to follow the children's natural curiosity and interest, without having artificial constraints and programming imposed upon them by well meaning, but misguided, government officials. Flexibility and freedom of choice in time, methods, and materials, often makes the crucial difference in meeting the individual needs of a child.  Parents who homeschool have that flexibility and freedom of choice.  That is how it best succeeds.  We work tirelessly to help all parents and children, all across the country, to succeed, by maintaining that flexibility and freedom. It can make the crucial difference in a child's life. No matter what state you live in, we are here to help.

Why reinvent the wheel?

NHELD believes that where homeschoolers in one state have succeeded in retaining their freedom to educate, that state should be used as a model to be replicated in the other states, should they choose to do so.

In order to facilitate this process, NHELD is establishing a central clearinghouse of information where homeschoolers can present facts, methods, and procedures they use to successfully resolve legal and political problems in their home state, and to resolve legal and political problems affecting all states.

NHELD members can then request and participate in joint meetings across state lines to have power in numbers and in the exchange of ideas.

With regard to legal matters

In order for any attorney to provide legal advice, the attorney must be licensed to practice law in that state. In the months ahead, we will be establishing a network of attorneys to assist you. In the meantime, we can help you navigate through legal issues in the following ways:
  • Provide a plan of action for your family to follow in the event of a problem encountered with government officials in instructing your children.
  • Provide communication from NHELD, LLC, to government officials in explanation of homeschooling issues.
  • Provide a referral to others knowledgeable about homeschooling issues who may be able to assist you. NHELD believes that most legal problems encountered by families who homeschool may be resolved without resorting to litigation or the adoption of new state or federal laws.
